Description: The Multan Fort, Lahore was considered one of the best forts of the Indian sub-continent for defence as well as architectural points of view. When it was intact its circuit was about one and a half miles. It had 46 bastions including two flanking towers at each of the four gates. Destroyed by the British in the late 19th century.
